Central Scotland

On the banks of the river Tay, the lovely city of Perth is surrounded by parks and is home to Branklyn Gardens. Within the town you can shop for crafts and antiques, visit the gallery dedicated to the Scottish colourist, Robert Fergusson or take a trip to nearby Scone Palace, original home of Scotland's Stone of Destiny and ancient crowning place of 42 Scottish kings.

Just west of Perth is the resort town of Crieff, where Scotland's oldest distillery, Glenturret and the new Famous Grouse Experience are open to visitors all year round. Nearby are the stunning Drummond Castle Gardens, one of the film locations for the blockbuster movie Rob Roy, and open to visitors in the summer months.
